Health and Safety at TPI Taping and Jointing Limited, the principles of health and safety are fundamental to our operations. We recognize that ensuring a safe workplace is essential for the welfare of our employees and the effective execution of our projects.

Our dedication to health and safety is demonstrated through our strict compliance with all applicable regulations and standards, guaranteeing that each task is performed safely, accurately, and in accordance with the law.

FIS membership is not automatic on application, full membership is subject to strict vetting procedures and only open to contractors and suppliers involved in commercial interior fit-out and building finishes.

On being accepted into the Association, all members agree to subscribe to and abide by the terms of the FIS Code of Conduct which establishes a minimum standard of conduct for members in order to raise and maintain industry standards. Members are vetted on application (for contractors this includes a physical audit of a construction site) and at regular intervals throughout their membership.

The CHAS code of conduct requires members:
  • To conduct business in a manner that will reflect credit on the Association, the industry and themselves.
  • To hold required levels of statutory or appropriate insurance.
  • To adopt and commit to the principles and practices laid down by FIS.
  • To operate an effective health and safety policy and have a current health and safety policy statement.
  • To act with integrity towards others and exercise high standards of business practice and workmanship.
  • To keep records of all RIDDOR reportable accidents and provide annual accident statistics to FIS.
  • To hold required levels of statutory or appropriate insurance.
  • To adopt and commit to the principles and practices laid down by FIS.
